In 1998, the founder of Greyshade Computer Services developed an educational game for a local school. This software was developed for the (then popular) Acorn Archimedes computer system and was well received by the teachers and students alike.
The game was based around a robot which needed to navigate it’s way around an “arena” to reach a specified objective. However, the software allowed teachers to build new arenas very quickly and easily, without any development requirements.
Recently, Greyshade Computer Services has revived this tool but on the web platform. In the process, adding new features and extra functionality to make the software even more compelling. The tool is currently in a long-term beta release state and the final release date is not yet confirmed. However, access to the beta is free and is available from:
